Funeral service for Miranda Reshea "Mandy" Lacy, age 28, of Danville, will be Sunday, June 24, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Campbell officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Miss Lacy, who died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Parkway Medical Center, was born October 7, 1983, in Decatur, to Tim Lacy and Charlotte Taylor Lacy. She was preceded in death by her mother; papa, Junior Lacy; grandmother, Maxine Taylor; and uncle, Joe Lacy. Miss Lacy was employed by Full House Restaurant.
She is survived by her father, Tim Lacy of Danville; two sisters, Jessica Lacy and Allison Lacy, both of Danville; stepbrother, Chris Ray of Danville; grandmother, Mavis Lacy of Danville; and two nephews, Jalen and Jaden Whisenant of Danville.
Pallbearers will be Alan Lacy, Jeremy Lacy, Chris Ray, Aaron Lacy, Jeff Reynolds, Dusty Vinzant and Daniel Johnson.
