Amanda Cathey Kilborn

Amanda Cathey Kilborn, age 62, of Decatur, died Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Huntsville Hospital. Her family will host a private memorial service at a later date.  Shelton Funeral Home is assisting the family. Ms. Kilborn was born August 10, 1955, in Key West, Florida, to Edgar L. Kilborn, Sr. and Lotta E. (Cathey) Kilborn. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Stephen A. Kilborn of Tampa, FL. She is survived by two brothers, Edgar L. Kilborn, Jr. and wife, Mayi, of Tampa, FL; nephew, Richard T. Kilborn and wife, Silvia, of Panama City, Panama; great-nephew, Gian Michael Kilborn; niece, Yvonne N. (Kilborn) Gonzalez and husband, Carlos, of Panama City, Panama; and Richard L. Kilborn and wife, Marcie, of Hartselle, AL; niece, Amy L. Kilborn of Hartselle, AL; niece, Christina R. (Kilborn ) Brunner and husband, Dusten, of Tampa, FL; great-nephew, Jaxon C. Brunner; niece, Teresa D. Kilborn of St. Louis, MO; nephew, David W. Kilborn of Nashville, TN. Ms. Kilborn is also survived by her sister-in-law, Maribel (Kilborn) Paige of Lakeland, FL; nephew, Armando Kilborn and wife, Michelle, of El Paso, TX; nephew, Stephen A. Kilborn, Jr. and wife, Nellie, of El Paso, TX; great-nieces, Sammy and Ava of El Paso, TX; niece, Marian L. Kilborn of Decatur, AL; great-nieces, Maiah and Elliana of Decatur, AL.
