Annie Beatrice Blagburn

Funeral service for Mrs. Annie Beatrice Blagburn, age 92, of Decatur, will be Wednesday, October 4, 2017, 1:00 p.m., at Oak Park Church of God with Rev. Robert Newman officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service at the church.  Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mrs. Blagburn, who died Sunday, October 1, 2017, at USA Healthcare in Falkville, was born August 18, 1925, in Alabama to Erby Bishop and Augusta McGhee Bishop.  She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Blagburn,  one son, Ronald Blagburn, and one daughter, Sheire Ward.  Mrs. Blabgurn was one of nine children, and served her Lord most of her life.  She was employed by Fly Manufacturing for 28 years. She is survived by three sons, Garland Blagburn of Hartselle, Joseph Blagburn of Priceville, and Mark Blagburn of Hartselle; three daughters, Martha Borden of Somerville, Wanda Blagburn of Decatur, and Carrie Myers of Hartselle; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
