Barbara Sue Lindsey

July 1, 1943 - August 30, 2018

Funeral service for Barbara Sue (Hall) Lindsey, age 75, of Decatur, will be Monday, September 3, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Foreman officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery, Danville. Mrs. Lindsey, who died Thursday, August 30, 2018, at her residence, was born July 1, 1943,  in Cullman, to D. H. "Doc" Hall and Alma L. Marchman Hall. She thoroughly enjoyed nature and gardening.  Mrs. Lindsey was preceded in death by her husband, Vondell Lindsey, three sons, Jeff Lindsey, Marlon Lindsey, and Randy Lindsey, and two grandsons, Britton Smith and Patrick Haley.   She is survived by one son, James Eual Lindsey of Decatur; four daughters, Michelle Lindsey and Pamela Lindsey, both of Decatur, Karen McKelvey of Tuscaloosa, and Lesa Dean Terry of Moulton; one sister, Imogene Hall Hinel of Cullman; grandchildren, Michael Bentley, Tommy Edwards, Jessica Lindsey, Carmen Lindsey, Jewel Lindsey, Lexie Lindsey, Erica Haley, and Paul Haley; and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
