Marilyn Olga McLuckie

February 13, 1932 - March 25, 2018

Memorial mass for Marilyn R. McLuckie, age 86, of Decatur, will be Thursday, April 5, 2018,  10:00 a.m. at Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church.  Shelton Funeral Home is assisting her family. Mrs. McLuckie, who peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at River City Center, was born February 13, 1932, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to Andrew Rychlak and Veronica Sarafin Rychlak.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John McLuckie, Jr., son, John Brett "Luckie" McLuckie, and her parents.  Marilyn was a homemaker who loved travel, children, animals, reading, and trivia games.  In her free time she enjoyed garden club, bowling, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends.   She is survived by her daughter, Laurie McLuckie; daughter-in-law, Jan Durham; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her companion, Hattie.   In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to Breast Cancer Research Foundation at www.bcrfcure.org.  Guestbook available at www.sheltonfuneralhome.net.
