Nancy Lee (Gowen) Niemeier

Memorial service for Nancy Lee (Gowen) Niemeier, age 74, of Decatur, will be Monday, February 7, 2022, 3:00 p.m. at Vintage Faith Church with Chaplain Brad Eades officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to service at the church. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Mrs. Niemeier, who died Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at her residence, was born June 11, 1947, in Louisville, KY, to Kenneth Irving Gowen and Doris Jean Carroll Gowen. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Kenneth Gowen, Jr. and John Gowen. Mrs. Niemeier was a loving mother and grandmother, and was a loyal member of Vintage Faith Church for more than 15 years. She is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Pack of Louisville, KY and Leslie Frost (Brian) of Decatur; three grandchildren, Hayley Pack of Louisville, KY, Connor Frost of Decatur, and Mason Pack of Louisville, KY; and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, P. O. Box 2745, Decatur, AL 35602.
