Patsy Joan Morgan

Funeral service for Patsy Bullard Morgan, age 75, of Decatur, will be Thursday, May 10, 2018,  11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Scotty Hogan and Rev. Dr. Alan Queen officiating.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.    Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mrs. Morgan, who died Monday, May 7, 2018, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born February 6, 1943, in Pickens County, to Henry Anderson Bullard and Nellie Lorene French Bullard.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Mrs. Morgan was a member of Bellview Baptist Church for 75 years.  She retired from the law offices of Blackburn, Maloney & Schuppert where she worked in accounts receivable. She is survived by her husband, Darrial S. Morgan of Decatur; three sons, Darrial L. Morgan (Regina), Henry "Tony" Morgan (Lisa), and Chris Morgan (Tiffany), all of Decatur; one daughter, Almeda "Alma" Borden (Patrick) of Decatur; one brother, J. D. Bullard (Dorothy) of Decatur; stepmother, Viola Bullard; one stepbrother, Tommy Sivley (Jackie) of Priceville; one stepsister, Kathy Tadlock (John) of Priceville; 10 grandchildren, Blake Garrett, Whitney Garrett, Jordan Finger (Justin), Alisha Morgan, Ashley Swader (Adam), Zac Morgan, Trevor Morgan, Brody Borden, Elijah Borden, and Addison Borden; five great-grandchildren, Carter Finger, Cooper Finger, Cameron Finger, Emery Garrett, and Ally Cole Swader; and several nephews, nieces, and cousins.   Pallbearers will be Blake Garrett, Zac Morgan, Trevor Morgan, Brody Borden, John Tadlock, Rod Garrett, Mark Bullard, Barry Bullard, and Elijah Borden.
