Obituary

Graveside service for William Luther "Bill" Gordon, age 86, of Trinity, will be Friday, January 1, 2021, 3:00 p.m. at Midway Memorial Gardens with Shelton Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Gordon, who died Sunday, December 27, 2020, at his residence, was born September 24, 1934, in Birmingham, to Tom Gordon and Euda Mathews Gordon. Prior to retirement he was a Christian minister.

He is survived by his loving wife, Doris Gordon of Trinity; one son, Gary Gordon of Trinity; four granddaughters, Erin Gordon Posey of Decatur, Paige Gordon of Trinity, Stacie Hood of Florence, and Lori Carlin of Athens; and three great-granddaughters, Chloe Posey, Lydia Posey, and Naomi Posey, all of Decatur.
